Set the Font for Data Fields

Right-click the data field. Select Font and one of the following options: All Data Fields – This option applies the font settings to all available data fields within the form or label Current Data Field - This option applies the font settings only to highlighted data fields within the form or label Free Text - This option applies the font settings to free text entered within the form or label Highlighted Data Fields - This option applies the font settings to all highlighted data fields within the form or label Note: To select multiple data fields, hold the SHIFT key and then select the data fields with the mouse cursor. Assign a Bar Code Font to Data Fields

Before a data field can display as a bar code on a form or label, you must manually assign a bar code font to the data field on the form or label template. Add a data field to a form or label template. Right-click on the bar code data field on the form or label template, and then select Fonts > Current Data Field. The Font window opens. Select one of the following bar code fonts from the Font list: WASP 39 H (the H stands for huge) WASP 39 HC WASP 39 L (the L stands for large) WASP 39 LC WASP 39 M (the M stands for medium) WASP 39 MC Note: The C at the end of bar code font names (such as WASP 39 MC) indicates that the ID code displays in alphanumeric format below the bar code version of the code. Insert Data Fields in Form and Label Templates

When you design forms and labels, you can use the NextGen Data Repository window to select and place the data fields that you want displayed when you print your custom designed forms or labels. To insert data fields in a form or label template: Open the template in File Maintenance. In the Form Design window, select Insert Data Field . The NextGen Data Repository window opens. Double click on the applicable icon to display the data fields for that icon. Insert a data field in one of two ways: Select and drag the data field onto the Form Design window and release the mouse button when you have positioned the data field where you want it placed. If you want to adjust its position on the form, select and drag it again. Select an item in the list, and then select Add. Use any of the following options to design the fields: To select more than one field, select the Shift key while you select the fields. To align multiple fields, select the fields. Interface Information Data Fields for Form and Label Templates

The following table lists the Data Repository data fields for Interface Information. Data Fields Description Encounter Integer ID Creates a bar code that represents the unique encounter ID that is created for use by the Rosetta Interface.
