Recall Plans

After you create recall plans in File Maintenance, you can use them in NextGen® Enterprise PM to notify a patient to return to your practice for a specific event. You can generate Recall Plans Master report from the Recall Plans master file. Add Recall Stop Reasons in File Maintenance

In File Maintenance, open Master Lists. On the Master List List window, select Recall Plan Stop Reasons. To add a recall stop reason, select Open Menu and select New. The Add Recall Stop Reason Information window opens. In the Description field, enter the reason for stopping the recall, for example, Expired Patient. Select OK. Set Up Recall Plans

In the File Maintenance application, select Master Files > Practice > Recall Plans. The Recall Plans List window opens. Select OpenMenu and select New. The Recall Plans window opens. Enter the fields to set your recall plan. Select OK. Recall Plans Window Field Descriptions You can use the fields described in the following table to configure your recall plan. Patient Chart > Encounters Tab

Access the Patient Chart. Select the Encounters tab. In the Encounters list on the left, select any encounter. Right-click and select Recall. The Patient Recall window opens. Select the recall to be stopped. Do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Stop from the menu. Right-click and select Stop from the menu. Select the Stop button. The following prompt displays: Do you want to stop the participation in this plan? To stop the patient’s recall plan, select Yes. Select a Reason for Stopping Recall and then select OK. Note: The Reason for Stopping Recall window displays only if the Prompt for a reason when a Recall Plan is stopped option is enabled in Practice Preferences > Chart. Patient Chart > Patient Information Bar

Note: The Show Patient Information Bar option must be enabled in Practice Preferences > Patient Information Bar > PM tab, and in General User Preferences > Chart tab. Access the Patient Chart. From the Patient Information Bar, select the Recall Plans button. The Clinical History/Notes tab > Recall topic displays. The section on the right displays existing recalls for the patient.
