Patient Alert Message
A patient alert message displays whenever you access an encounter during the after care period and enter a charge for the service item that has an after care period set. The message displays to help prevent the accidental posting of additional charges during the after care period.
In addition, if a service item is entered multiple times on the Charge Entry window in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the after care alert only displays once. When a rendering physician is attached to a service item with an after care period, then the rendering physician's name displays in the after care alert.
