Resources Tab

You can arrange the display order of resources in NextGen® Enterprise PM so that the ones used frequently by appointment schedulers display at the top of the resource list. Tooltip Tab

Tooltips enable users to easily view key information about appointments. The tooltips display in NextGen® Enterprise PM when the user hovers the mouse cursor over an appointment. The items selected on the Tooltip tab of the User Appointment Scheduling Preferences determine which information displays in the tooltip. Open a User Prefs - Scheduling master file. The Default User Preferences - Scheduling window opens. Select the Tooltip tab. In the Display after field, select the number of seconds you want to pass before the tooltips appears. Select the tooltips that you want to appear. Note: The Eligibility Process Status and Response Status items are related to NextGen® Eligibility Verification. To change the order of the tooltip items in the list, highlight one, and then select or to move it up or down. You can also use the double arrows to move the tooltip to the top or bottom of the list. The Daily View Tab

You can select which fields display in the Daily View of the Appointment Book. Each item is put on a separate line, so unless you have an appointment that spans four appointment times, you might not be able to view all four data items. Select the check box next to each appointment item to select it; selected items display an X in their check box. These items display in your Daily View appointment dialog box underneath the appointment description for each appointment. To set the display order of the items, highlight one, and then select or to move it up or down. Set Scheduling Preferences for Multi View

On the Multi View tab, you can establish which resources you can schedule. You can set the order of the resources on the multi-view Appointment Book, and also specify how many resources to display at one time. Note: A default multi-view group exists that you can rename, or you can add more groups. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > Scheduling. In Appointment Scheduling Preferences, select the Multi View tab. Appointment scheduling preferences Multi View In Multi-View Groups, select the open menu icon, and then select New. The New Multi-View Group window opens. Multi -iew group Enter a name for the new multi-view group, and then select OK. The group name appears in the Multi-View Groups field. In the Resource Selection/Order list, select the resources to be a part of this multi-view group. Set Up New Multi-View Group

Under Multi-View Groups, select Open Menu , and then select New. The New Multi-View Group window opens. Enter a new name for the multi-view group, and then select OK. The group name displays in the Multi-View Groups field. On the Multi View tab, select the resources to be a part of this multi-view group. The selected resources appear in your resource list. They also display in your Multi-View appointment window. To change the list order of the resources, highlight a resource, and then select or to move it up or down. To create another multi-view group, repeat steps 1 thru 4. After you set up the multi-view groups, select the group in the Default multi-view group field that you want to use as the default when users initially open the appointment book. Select the maximum number of resources to display on windows. If you want event colors to display in the scheduled slots of the Weekly Schedule and Multi-View tabs of the Appointment Book, select the Display event color in scheduled slots

Set Scheduling Preferences for Daily View

You can choose settings that affect the display of appointments in the Daily View of the Appointment Book in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > User > Scheduling. Appointment scheduling preferences window - Daily view In Appointment Scheduling Preferences, select the Daily View tab. In Show the following items for an appointment, select one or more of the items to appear on appointments that take up multiple time slots in Daily View.
