Interactive Medical History

Interactive Medical History (IMH) Discrete functionality in master file enables you to configure set of specific questionnaires based on your specialty, such as medical history or diagnostic information. These questionnaires are sent toNextGen® PxP Portalusers to help collect patient's clinical data discretely through the completed forms. An IMH Discrete summary document will be attached to patient’s encounter. You must have the IMH Discrete Medical identifier provided by Primetime Medical. Send Interactive Medical History Forms from the File Menu

Before you begin You must set up Interactive Medical History (IMH) in the following: File Maintenance; for more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Configuration Guide for NextGen® PxP Portal. NextGen® PxP Portal Integration Tool; for more information, contact the NextGen Healthcare Implementation team. Patients can complete and submit IMH forms online through NextGen® PxP Portal. Optionally, they can also print out, complete, and submit the forms when they visit your practice. In the NextGen® Enterprise EHR top toolbar, select Patient . The Patient Lookup window opens. Search for and select a NextGen® PxP Portal enrolled patient. For more information on searching for a patient, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Patient Demographics Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. Configure Instant Medical History for NextGen® PxP Portal

If your practice uses Instant Medical History (IMH) intake forms in NextGen® PxP Portal, you must configure the IMH URL and encryption key. IMH is a third-party medical intake system that integrates with NextGen® Enterprise EHR to provide pre-visit questionnaires and forms to patients. In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config . The Practice Config page opens. Select the IMH tab. IMH Configuration tab used to configure the IMH URL and encryption key In Base URL, enter the IMH URL for your practice. In Key, enter the encryption key for the IMH URL. Select Save.
