Interactive Medical Forms are decision-based questionnaires primarily designed to gather medical history and diagnostic information from a patient prior to a visit. Patients can complete and submit these forms online through NextGen® PxP Portal. Optionally, they can also print out, complete, and submit the forms when they visit the practice. Configure Instant Medical History for NextGen® PxP Portal

If your practice uses Instant Medical History (IMH) intake forms in NextGen® PxP Portal, you must configure the IMH URL and encryption key. IMH is a third-party medical intake system that integrates with NextGen® Enterprise EHR to provide pre-visit questionnaires and forms to patients. In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config . The Practice Config page opens. Select the IMH tab. IMH Configuration tab used to configure the IMH URL and encryption key In Base URL, enter the IMH URL for your practice. In Key, enter the encryption key for the IMH URL. Select Save. If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email through NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
