Exclude Voided Charges from Form Template Claim Types

When you create a form-template claim to replace the 1500 or UB paper claims, you can exclude voided charges from displaying when the form-template claim prints. From the Form Templates List window, double-click the applicable form-template claim. Select Template Properties on the Form Template toolbar, and then select the Details tab. The Template Properties window opens. By default the Exclude Voided Charges check box is unchecked. If you select the check box before you print the form-template claims, any voided charges will be excluded. Parent topic: Details Tab

Set Up Labels Template Properties

On the Options tab you can select label information. You cannot access the tab when you are modifying a form template. You also set up postcards for laser printing in the same manner as label templates. To print postcards, select one of the postcard options from the Product Number list on the Options tab. In File Maintenance, select System > Label Templates. The Label Templates List window opens. Open the template. Select Template Properties on the Label Template toolbar. The Template Properties window opens. Select the brand of labels to use in the Label Products field. Select Custom to enter your own dimensions. In the Product Number field, select the label number you want to use. The list changes depending on the label product you choose. The dimensions display in the Label Information section. In the Print Information section, select one of the following kinds of label products: Laser: Prints to Avery or custom labels. Custom: The options in the Label Products field changes to addi

Template Properties

You can set up the following template properties: The Fields Tab Order tab enables you to set up the order for tabbing through template fields. Unless you enter a specific order, Template Editor default tab order to the sequence in which the fields were created. The Font and Color tab enables you to set the Template font, font style, size, default text color for all newly created labels on the template, and template background color. The Background Image tab enables you to display a background image on a template in high resolution (more than 256 colors) or in low resolution (256 colors). The Preferences tab enables you to set up preferences for the Use Alias template, Sidebar template, Popup template toolbars, Template size, and Collapsible panels on your templates. The Comments tab enables you to add comments to a template snippet or sub template. Form and Label Templates Toolbar

The Form and Label Templates toolbar enables you to make changes to forms and labels and to the fields on them. The following table describes the function of each button on the toolbar. Button Description The Save Form/Label Template button saves your changes to the form. The Delete button removes the selected data field from the form. The Insert Data Field button opens the NextGen Data Repository so that data fields can be added to the form. The Font button enables you to set the font type for free text entered in the form. The Template Properties button enables you to set margins and paper size for the form. The Template Sorting Preference button enables you to specify the fields you want the forms to be ordered by as they print in NextGen® Enterprise PM. For example, the forms could be sorted by the last name field as they print. The Exit Form Design button closes the report. The File Maintenance desktop displays. Parent topic: Forms

Form and Label Templates Printing Sort Order

You can specify the form fields that you want to use to sort a form or label template based on the form fields used to create the form and label template. When you set up the form fields that you want to use to sort the forms or labels by, the form or label templates automatically display in that sort order when previewing or printing in batch mode. Note: You can select a maximum of five form fields for the printing sort order criteria. If you attempt to select more than five form fields, a window displays to remind you.
