Allergies - User Defined

The Allergies master file contains a list of user-defined allergies.
  1. From the Master Files - System list, select Allergies.
    The Allergies - User Defined List window opens.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a new item, select open menu , and then select New.
    • To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select open menu , and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item.
    The Add/Modify Allergy Information window opens.

  3. Enter the abbreviation for an allergy in the Allergy Key field. This field allows for a maximum of 8 characters.
  4. Enter the full description of the allergy in the Allergy Description field.
  5. Enter any additional information for the allergy in the Note field.
  6. If you want to hide the item in the list, select the Hide check box.
  7. Select Next to add another item or select OK to return to the Allergies - User Defined List window.
