The Diagnosis Statuses master file enables you to set up the statuses for diagnosed conditions based on user-defined criteria. This master file provides a complete list of statuses of diagnosed conditions in the database. This is a user-defined table.

  - From the Master Files - System list, select Diagnosis Status.

The Diagnosis Statuses List window opens.

  - Do one of the following:

    - To add a new item, select open menu , and then select New.

    - To modify an existing item, select the item in the list, select open menu , and then select Open. You can also double-click to open the item.

    The
Add/Modify Diagnosis Status Information window opens.

  - Enter a full description of diagnosis status in the Description field.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you set up the first record for status with a description like None or something similar. Having this "blank" record as the first record in the table enables users to not select a status if they choose to do so. Enter the diagnosis category information.

  - Enter any additional information in the Note field.

  - If you want to hide the item in the list, select the Hide check box.

  - Select Next to add another item or select OK to return to the Diagnosis Statuses List window.

Note: If you are editing an existing item, the Next button is not an option.
