Select the Default VIS Category
You can select your practice's default VIS category so that you can view a patient's VIS documents by selecting the default category on the Categories tab. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences. Select the VIS category from the Default VIS Category list. Select OK at the bottom of the Imm tab. Set up Rights for Applying Order Preferences Across Practices
In System Administrator, select the required user group. Open Rights tab. Expand OPERATIONS and then select Apply Order Preferences across Practices. Select Yes under Access Rights. Note: The Access Rights default is Yes. If you set the access rights to No, you cannot select all practices while copying order preferences across practices (such as required fields), setting up the Vaccine Inventory, or updating the Vaccine Schedule in File Maintenance. Set Up Orders Module Practice Preferences
Open File Maintenance and select System > Practices. Double-click a pratice. In the Modify Practice Information window, select Preferences and then select the Orders Module. There are several check boxes to set preferences for printing, the use of the NextGen Compendium, and other settings. There are additional preferences associated with the Orders module that can be set for your practice. Select Test Favorites for a Practice
Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. In the Preference List, select Orders Module. Select Order Module > Lab/Rad tab. Select the folder to select one or more of the Order Test Favorites lists that have been created for your database. These tests must have already been created in File Maintenance. Add COVID-19 Vaccines to Practice Favorites
You can add COVID-19 vaccines to the list of favorite vaccines in a practice to allow quick selection of COVID-19 vaccines in the Immunizations module. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files - System, select Practices. The Practices List window opens. Double-click your practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. From Preference List, select Orders Module and select the Imm tab. To add COVID-19 vaccine(s) to your practice favorites, under Vaccine Favorites, select open menu and then select New.
