You can only access the Remake Reasons master file if you are licensed for NextGen® Optical Management. Use the Remake Reason master file to create a list of reasons for remaking a contact or eyeglass order.
To add or modify a remake reason:
From the Master Files - Optical Management list, select Remake Reason.
The Remake Reason List window opens.
From the list, do one of the following:
To add a new item, select the Open Menu button and then select New.
To modify an item, select the item in the list, select the Open Menu button, and then select Open.
The Remake Reason window opens.
Enter the remake reasons according to the following table.

Enter a description that explains why it is necessary to remake the contact or eyeglass order. Some examples include: non-adapt, customer change, wrong Rx, and not made as ordered. This is a required field.
Note
Enter any additional information.
If you want to hide the item in the list, select the Hide check box.
Select Next to add another item or select OK to return to the Remake Reason List.
Note: If you are editing an existing item, the Next button does not appear.
Select the Include Hidden Items check box to include the items in the master file list. If you do not select this check box, the items do not appear in the list and they cannot be accessed.
