When you select Practice access for payer master file, the payers can be defined at the practice level, and you can restrict which practices have access to them. Providers Master File

In the Providers master file, you can set up providers who offer a service or refer a patient for a service. You can set the access right for the Provider master file to read-only for user groups. The setting prevents the user group from modifying the master file. For more information on setting up rights and permissions, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise and see Rights and Permissions section. On the Providers List window, you can see the Rendering, Providers and National Provider ID columns. Rendering providers are indicated by a checkmark in the Rendering column. You can set providers as rendering on the Add/Modify Provider Information window of the Practice tab. The National Provider ID column displays the NPI number linked to the provider. Restricting Access to File Maintenance

You must have the appropriate security permissions that enable you to sign on to File Maintenance. You can set the security permissions in System Administrator. If a group has the MODULES > File Maintenance > View access right not checked and the OPERATIONS > File Maintenance > Access Rights set to No, then the users in the group cannot access File Maintenance from NextGen® Enterprise PM or from the Application Launcher. Assign Quick File Configurations to Practices

Before you begin In Enterprise Preferences, you must activate Practice access for Quick File Configurations. Open File Maintenance. In Master Files, select System, and then select Quick File Configurations. The Quick File Configurations List window opens. Right-click the configuration in the list that you want to assign, and then select Practice Access. The Quick File Master Access by Practice window opens. Select the practices that you want to have access to the Quick File configuration. To select all the practices, select the Practice option. Select OK.
