Import the PXP Integration Template

Open the Template Import/Export utility. In the NextGen Template Import/Export window, select Tools > Options > Import. Select the following options to automatically update the PxP Portal Integration Tool URL in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then select OK. Overwrite When Template Exists Include Stored Procedures Copy Background and Image Files Include Associated Template Sets In Import, select Load Files. In Select Files To Be Imported, open C:\Program Files\PXPServices\PXP_ReviewQ_Template, select the PXP_Integration_UI_v2.TXML template, and then select Import. The success status is displayed within the NextGen Template Import/Export window, and a check mark appears next to the template name. The PxP Integration UI template opens in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the NextGen® PxP Portal Integration Tool from NextGen Enterprise EHR

Before you begin Ensure you have installed Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome on the server, and ensure you have the rights to access the NextGen® PxP Portal Integration Tool. Note: The NextGen® PxP Portal Integration Tool can only be accessed using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Template window Select the PxP Integration UI template and select the OK button. Set up Patient Portal Trigger

The Patient Portal action launches windows at run time that enable you to: Set up an account for a patient on the NextGen® PxP Portal website. Schedule the future delivery of a message to a patient enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal. After a message has been scheduled, you can review and edit or delete it, if necessary. NextGen® PxP Portal is a secure Internet portal that enables patients to communicate with providers, request appointments, request prescription refills, review test results, complete online forms, view documents and statements, and access health reference information.
