Configuration Files for NextGen Patient Portal CCD Service

You must install NextGen Patient Portal CCD Service to generate Personal Health Records (PHR) for NextGen® PxP Portal.

After the installation of NextGen Patient Portal CCD Service, the following default configuration files are created. The configuration files contain the agent options for generating the PHRs.

  • PxpLongitudinalCcdaRequest. Contains the settings for generating the PHR when a patient completes enrollment.
  • PxpEncounterCcdaRequest. Contains the settings for generating the PHR when an encounter is locked in NextGen® Enterprise EHR
  • PxpManualCcdaRequest. Contains the settings for generating the PHR when a patient requests for the PHR from NextGen® PxP Portal.
  • PxpDateFilterCcdaRequest. Contains the settings for generating the PHR when a patient requests for the PHR with the date filter from NextGen® PxP Portal.
  • PxpMsuCcdaRequest. Contains the settings for generating the PHR when a practice user generates the PHR from Medical Summary utility to a patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account.

Parallel processing in NextGen Patient Portal CCD Service allows the creation of multiple agents for the simultaneous processing of CCDs or PHRs. You can set the number of CCD or PHR to be processed in the pool size.
