Tasking Jobs

Use the Tasking Jobs panel to configure tasking jobs that run on a regular timeframe. The grid has two nightly jobs and a yearly task job. Each of these jobs works in conjunction with a specific task in the Task panel grid. Designate a Financial Class

You can configure the system to send the task based on financial classes that are attached to the case. If no Financial Class is listed, the default is to send the task for All financial classes. In the Financial Classes grid, select the Financial Class field. Select the financial classes you want this task to send for. Parent topic: Task Options Panel

Designate a Visit Type

You can designate if you want a task to fire only on specific visit types. In the Task Visit Types grid, add the visit types you want the task to fire on. Select the Add button to save the visit types to the grid. If no visit types are added to the grid, the system sends that task when needed regardless of the visit type. Assign a Task

Select the task from the grid in the Tasks panel. Select the Task To: Type field next to the Assign To grid. Ainf Tasking Task To picklist opened from the Task To: Type field Select any of the following recipients: User (assign the task to a specific user) Workgroup (a workgroup picklist opens) Location Workgroup (a workgroup picklist opens) Supervising Provider (pull from encounter/case) Rendering Provider or Supervising then Rending Provider (pull from encounter/case) Ordering/Referring Provider (pull from encounter/case) Script Provider (pulls from the script fields on Homepage) Select Add. Assign a Category to a Task

You can use the Category grid to assign an Inbox Category that will be applied to the task. Select the Use category field to the right of the Category grid. Select the category you want that task to file under when it is sent. Select the Add button to save it to the grid. Parent topic: Task Options Panel

Manage Task Assignments

You can use the Task Options panel to assign tasks for specific users or user groups from the tasking grid. These tasks are sent automatically to the selected users’ inboxes. The Tasks panel also enables you to assign a category to the task and to remove a category from a task.
