The Ortho/Neuro Findings section of this panel is a configurable grid with the Quick Add feature. Your practice can configure the Exam picklist to display only exams relevant to your practice. Chiropractic Exams

The chiropractic exam templates include DC Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar. These exams all follow the same format. Details are shown below for the DC Cervical Exam. The DC Thoracic Exam and DC Lumbar Exam follow the same format but with the appropriate relevant information in each panel. The Exams grid lists specific exams in the configurable side navigation that are of use to the Chiropractor. There are therapy exams, chiropractic exams, and a specific Acupuncture Exam for those clinics that offer acupuncture. Document the Abnormal Lumbar Spine Exam Findings

You can document the abnormal lumbar spine exam findings in the Lumbar Spine Exam - PE template. Open the PE - Lumbar Spine Exam template. Expand the Inspection panel. In the Posture field, do the following: Select whether the Posture is Symmetrical or Asymmetrical. Click the text field to select a deformity from the Deformity list. Click the Detail link to select an appropriate option from the Spine Inspection - PE window. Expand the Range of Motion panel, and then do the following: To select an option from the corresponding lists, in the Description section, in the Factors and Description fields, click the fields in the Right and Left labels. If the physical exam findings are normal, select the Normal check box in the Factors and Description fields. Click the Goniometer link in the Measurement section. You can document the abnormal cervical spine exam findings in the Cervical Spine Exam - PE template. Open the Cervical Spine Exam - PE template. Expand the Inspection panel. In the Posture section, do the following: Click the text field to select an appropriate deformity from the Deformity list. Click the Detail link to select a desired option from the Spine Inspection - PE window. Expand the Range of Motion panel, and then do the following: In the Description section, click the Factors and Description fields to select an option from the corresponding lists. In the Measurement section, click the Goniometer link to document the details for a range of motion. The Cervical Spine Range of Motion - PE template opens. Note: You can also document the physical exam findings directly in the available fields in each panel instead of using the links to open the templates. Enter the physical exam findings in the Range of Motion - Measurement and Range of Motion - Description sections. Click Save &
