Open the Practice Configuration Template
Open the NTS Practice Config practice template from the Specialty Config Home system template so you can configure settings and preferences for your practice. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. On the System tab, select Specialty Config Home, and then select OK. The Specialty Config Home template opens. In the System Sidebar, select Practice Config. The NTS Practice Config practice template opens. Parent topic: Practice Configuration

Diagnosis Section
You can configure whether certain diagnosis-related fields appear and how the fields behave. Diagnosis section of the Practice Config template Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set You can use a visit set as criteria when you configure whether the therapist must review the ordering diagnosis or add an ordering diagnosis for charge submission. Student Settings
For facilities that have students, you can use the Student Settings section to enable or disable certain features when the signed-on user is in the Student user group. For PT/OT Student General Supervision, select Enable if you want the Total General Supervised Student Time field to appear on the NTS Treatment template for PT/OT students. For Pediatric Exam Student Setting, select Disable for pediatric language exams to calculate the results for speech therapy students. Enable or disable Get Data for users in student groups. Enable or disable Quick Picks for users in student groups. PT/OT Modalities Skin Check Completed Checkbox
The Modalities template has a Skin Check Completed checkbox in the lower right. Skin Check Completed checkbox highlighted on Modalities template If you mark Required here, if therapist has documented that a modality has been completed (for example, Electrical Stimulation or Hot/Cold Therapy), the therapist cannot submit charges on that encounter until they mark the Skin Check Completed checkbox. If you select Not Required, marking the checkbox is optional. If you select Hidden, the Skin Check Completed checkbox will not appear on the Modalities template.
