Edit a Template-Based Picklist

In the Search by Template Name field, enter a portion of the template name, and then select Search. The search returns all templates that have the search string in their names. Template-based picklist search Select the template from the list. Note: NextGen® Therapy Suite template names start with “NTS.” In the Template-Based Picklists section, the Picklists grid displays all picklists on the selected template. In the Picklists grid, select the picklist that you want to edit. The Picklist Values grid displays the values currently in the picklist. Picklist Manager

Use the NTS Picklist Manager template to customize picklists in NextGen® Therapy Suite. You can update template-based picklists and database picklists. You can also open the Past Medical History (PMH) setup page from here to configure items that will be selectable from PMH in the Therapy suite. Add Past Medical History

The Past Medical History grid displays any history that has been captured within that practice. For example, if you have one practice and multiple locations, all locations see the Past Medical History regardless of where it was entered. Select the Edit button below the grid. The NTS Sp PMH template for past medical history opens. NTS Sp PMH template for past medical history Items listed in black prompt for an onset date. Items listed in blue open a picklist to further specify the PMH for that item and then prompt for an onset date. Select the checkbox next to the item you want to enter. If the item is blue, select the more specific description from the picklist, and then select OK. Enter the Onset Date, if known, and then select the side, if applicable. Add Past Medical History

Select the Edit button below the Past Medical History grid. The NTS Sp PMH template opens. NTS Sp PMH template Mark the checkbox next to an item you want to enter. If you select an item with black text, a date field appears for you to enter the onset date. If you select an item with blue text, the Ainf Sp Pmh Select Dbpl picklist opens for you to further specify the item and enter an onset date. Select the more specific description from the picklist, and then select OK. The NTS Sp Pmh Select window opens. NTS Sp Pmh Select template Enter the Onset Date. Select the Side field, and then select the side if applicable. Select Save to Grid. The item enters the grid on the NTS Sp PMH template. Repeat step 2 for any additional medical history you want to add. Select Save & Close. Add Medical History from a Search

Select the Edit button below the grid. The NTS Sp PMH template for past medical history opens. Select Other from the list. Other field on the Ainf Sp PMH template A search window opens. Enter a search term in the Search field. Results in search window Select the item from the list, and then select Select. NTS Sp Pmh Select template with onset information Enter the Onset Date if known. Select the Side field, and then select the side if applicable. Select Save to Grid. Select Save & Close. Past Medical History

Any past medical history entered in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR appears in the Past Medical History grid. You can add additional items to it from the NTS Sp PMH template. You can also add family and social history for the patient, but those do not appear in the grid.
