You cannot delete visit types, but you can hide them.
Select the visit type row in the grid.

The
Show in EHR
column shows 'No', and the visit type moves to the bottom of the grid.

Update Visit Types
You can edit visit types. Select the visit type row in the Visit Type Setup grid. The details move into the fields below the grid. Edit any of the fields as necessary. Select Add/Update. Parent topic: Visit Type Setup Panel

Modify a Custom Visit Type

Remove Reviewed Diagnostic Studies
You can remove the diagnostic studies from the Reason for Visit panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. In the Reason for Visit panel, do one of the following: Select the Studies Reviewed record from the grid, and then select Remove. Select Diagnostics to open the Diagnostic History Entry template, then select a diagnostic study from the grid, and select Remove from HPI Grid. Note: To turn on the Remove from HPI Grid button, you must select a study that is previously added to the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template. The Studies Reviewed row no longer appears in the grid of the Reason for Visit panel. Note: Removing the record from the Reason for Visit panel does not remove it from the grid on the Diagnostic History Entry template or the History Summary panel. Remove a Reason for Visit
You can remove a reason for visit for a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template. Expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select the Additional / Manage link in the left pane of the Reason for Visit panel. Select Clear beside the applicable reason for visit field. Select Save & Close. Remove a Document Entry
Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. On the Plan/Intervention tab, expand the Document panel. Click the entry on the grid to be removed.
