Fix Patient Safety Issues with Chiropractic Foot Supination Selection

On the DC Cervical Exam and DC Thoracic Exam templates, the Right and Left values for Foot Supination were interchanged, but they were not switched on the DC Lumbar Exam. The Chiropractic Foot Supination radio button report lists the patient encounters where the Foot Supination option was selected on the DC Cervical Exam or DC Thoracic Exam, and the DC Lumbar Exam template was also accessed. For each encounter in the report, review whether the selections are switched and correct them as necessary.

  1. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template.
  2. Select the Practice tab, and then, in the Show section, select All.
  3. Locate and double-click NTS Patient Safety Report.
The NTS Patient Safety Report template opens. If this is your first time opening the template, the template does not display any records.
  4. Select Report Name.
The Safety Report picklist displays the available reports, version of the application that includes the correction, and associated known issue number. The columns for total number of encounters that need to be reviewed and remaining number of encounters to be reviewed are both blank because you have not generated the report yet.
