Add a Value to a Picklist
Make sure the picklist you want to edit is highlighted in the Picklists grid. Select the Value field to the right of the Picklist Values grid, and then enter the name of the new value. Grids in the Template-Based Picklists section Select the Show in EHR checkbox (if it is not selected, you will not see the option in the picklist). Select the Add button. Edit Picklist Values and Order
You can change picklist values and change the order that values appear in the picklist. Select the picklist in the Picklists grid. Select the value in the Picklists Values grid. The value is pulled into the Value field. Edit the value entry, and then select Update. The updated value is added to the grid at the bottom of the list. To change the order of the picklist, select any value in the list and use the up or down arrows below the grid to move it up or down in the order. To sort the list alphabetically, select the Sort Alphabetically checkbox. Note: Changes made will not appear in NextGen® Enterprise EHR until the picklists have been refreshed. Edit a Template-Based Picklist
In the Search by Template Name field, enter a portion of the template name, and then select Search. The search returns all templates that have the search string in their names. Note: NextGen® Therapy Suite template names start with “NTS.” In the Template-Based Picklists section, the Picklists grid displays all picklists on the selected template. In the Picklists grid, select the picklist that you want to edit. The Picklist Values grid displays the values currently in the picklist. Delete a Value from a Template Picklist
On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Template Picklists panel. From the Templates grid, select the desired template. The Picklists grid displays all picklists currently on the selected template. Template Picklists panel on the Picklist Configuration template Select the desired picklist. Delete a Value on a Database Picklist
On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Database Picklists panel. Select the database picklist from the grid. The existing values appear in the right grid. Select the value to be deleted from the grid. Click Delete. Parent topic: Managing Database Picklists

Delete Radiology Picklists or Picklist Values
You can delete a picklist or you can delete a single value from a picklist. On the Radiology Configuration practice template, expand the Radiology Picklists panel. To delete a picklist, do the following: Select a row in the Picklist grid. The fields below fill with the selected value and the Update and Delete buttons are enabled. Click Delete. If you delete a picklist associated with a CPT code in the Manage Radiology Views panel, the system displays a message to confirm the deletion. If you select Yes, the system deletes the picklist and the associated picklist values, and removes it from the Picklist column in the Manage Radiology Views panel.
