On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Database Picklists panel. Select the database picklist from the grid. The existing values appear in the right grid. Update a Database Picklist Value
On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Database Picklists panel. Select the database picklist from the grid. The existing values appear in the right grid. Select the value to be updated from the grid. The information corresponding to the selected value appear in the fields below the grid. Update the desired information in the fields. Click Update. Delete a Value from a Template Picklist
On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Template Picklists panel. From the Templates grid, select the desired template. The Picklists grid displays all picklists currently on the selected template. Template Picklists panel on the Picklist Configuration template Select the desired picklist. Managing Database Picklists
You can configure picklists values for specific database picklists in the Database Picklists panel of the Picklist Configuration practice template. The database picklists are found in the Assessment and Plan, Medical Decision Making (MDM) sections, as well as the HPI sections of the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates. Remove a Database Picklist
You can create a new database picklist for configuration of navigation links on medical record templates. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Database Picklist panel. From the left grid, select the picklist to be deleted. Select an item linked to the list. Click Delete. Continue selecting and deleting until there are no links in the right grid. This deletes the selected database picklist from the left grid. Parent topic: Managing Database Picklist

Delete a Value from a Picklist
Select the picklist. Select the value in the Picklists Values grid. Select Delete. Note: The changes you have made will not appear in NextGen® Enterprise EHR until the picklists have been refreshed. See Refresh Template-Based Picklists Parent topic: Edit a Template-Based Picklist
