Copy Navigation Settings

You can copy navigation settings from one practice to another within the enterprise. Note: Use the Copy Navigation panel with caution; copying to another practice will overwrite all settings. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Copy Navigation panel. Copy Navigation panel on the Specialty Nav Config template In the Which settings to Copy field, select the settings to be copied. In the Which Practice to Copy from field, select the practice from which you want to copy settings. Click Copy. Parent topic: Navigation Configuration

Copy Navigation Links Between Practices

You can copy navigation links from one practice to another. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom Navigation practice template. In the Copy Navigation box, select the From Practice field and select the practice from which you want to copy the navigation bar links. Select the To Practice field and select the practice to which you want to copy the navigation bar links. Select Copy Navigation. A warning message appears indicating that copying navigation from one practice to another practice might overwrite all the existing links for the selected practice. Select Yes. Copy Navigation Items to Another Practice

On the Custom Navigation template, you can copy an existing navigation items from one practice to another. In the Custom Navigation section, navigate to the Copy Navigation section. Click the From Practice field and select the source practice from the picklist. Click the To Practice field and select the practice to which the navigation items are to be copied. Navigation Configuration

In the Navigation Configuration template, you can configure the navigation bars. The system comes set up to handle the normal workflow. If your practice chooses to add additional templates to the suite, you will add them on the Navigation Config system-level template. Navigation Bar

On the navigation bar, you can find customizable links to open additional templates that may not be part of the main workflow. You can also use links to return to templates within the main workflow. The links are dependent on the Specialty, Age, or Gender of the patient. Navigation Bar The navigation bar includes the custom navigation that is configured on the Custom Navigation practice template and the navigation specific to the provider workflow. At the end of the visit, you can use the navigation bar to perform the following tasks. Document provider communication Generate additional notes and documents Dictate the clinical visit Document procedures performed during the patient encounter Generate the patient plan document Open Links from the Navigation Bar You can quickly access the list of templates from the navigation bar. Copy the Current Configurations

You can copy the current configurations to another specialty, practice, or provider using the copy button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. To copy your preferences on the Framework Content system template, select the Specialty, Practice, or Provider. In the Copy To section, enter any or all of the following: Specialty Practice Provider Copy To option To duplicate the setup preferences, select the Copy button.The template refreshes with the selected preferences for the specialty, practice, or provider.
