Configure the AINF_nightly_enc_check Task Job

The AINF_nightly_enc_check task uses a nightly job cycle to send the Incomplete Encounter Nightly in the Tasks panel grid for encounters that were started but not completed within a specified number of days. For the Incomplete Encounter Nightly tasking job to run, the following must be true: The Incomplete Encounter Nightly task in the Task grid must be set to Enabled. There must be at least one recipient assigned for the task. The Run column for the nightly tasking job AINF_nightly_enc_check must be set to “Y”. Select the AINF_nightly_enc_check job in the grid. The current parameters for the job appear in the fields below the grid. Select the Initial field to select the number of days that the encounter may be left open, but not completed, before the initial reminder task is sent. Select the Resend field to select how many days since the first task was sent, without the encounter being completed, before the task is re-sent. Configure the AINF_yearly_task Job

Use the AINF_yearly_task job to set up the date in the year when Yearly Reminder 1 task in the Tasks panel grid is sent. The Yearly Reminder 1 task reminds you to perform yearly update actions, such as entering new KX modifier thresholds, updating reimbursement rates, and so on. Select the AINF_yearly_task job in the grid. The current parameters for the job appear in the fields below the grid. Select the Date field to select the date that you want the task reminder to fire. Select whether you want the task job to run or not: To set the job to run, make sure the Yes checkbox is selected. To turn off the tasking job, clear the Yes checkbox. No task will be sent, even if the task is set to Enabled in the Task panel grid. Select Update. Parent topic: Tasking Jobs

Tasking Jobs

Use the Tasking Jobs panel to configure tasking jobs that run on a regular timeframe. The grid has two nightly jobs and a yearly task job. Each of these jobs works in conjunction with a specific task in the Task panel grid. Assign Tasks

You can assign a task to a specific user or workgroup or to the rendering provider to automatically send the task to them. Warning: You must assign a recipient to the New NDC Added and New SIM Code Added tasks. If no recipient is assigned, no task fires even if the task is enabled. On the Specialty Config Home template, select Tasking Manager from the left navigation bar. On the MICS Tasking Manager template, expand the Tasks panel. Tasks_panel From the Tasks grid, select the task you want to assign. The Task Name field on the Task Options panel displays the call name for the selected task. Task Options panel In the Task Options panel, select the task recipients under Task To: The selected recipient appear in the Name field. Select the task from the grid in the Tasks panel. Select the Task To: Type field next to the Assign To grid. Set Up a Workable Task

Open a task type with a source type of Encounter, Chart, or Appointment. The Task Types window displays. On the Options tab, select the Workable Task check box. When selected, this check box: Enables you to configure the task into the AutoFlow. Enables users to access this task type from the Work Task right-click option on the Work Tasks window. Select OK. To include the workable tasks in the AutoFlow, open the AutoFlow Sequences master file, and then select the Workable Tasks option to include in the Autoflow Sequence. The option makes the Work Tasks dialog box display to users during AutoFlow. Select OK. To allow users to return to AutoFlow after they complete all tasks, open the AutoFlow practice preferences, and then select the Enable AutoFlow button after workable tasks have been completed check box. After users complete the tasks from the Work Tasks window, the AutoFlow button becomes enabled so they can return to the AutoFlow. Select OK. Parent topic: Workable Task
