Configure the AINF_nightly_POC_check Job

The AINF_nightly_POC_check task uses a nightly job cycle to send the POC not received in the Tasks panel grid. For this tasking job to run, the following must be true: The POC not received task in the Task grid must be set to Enabled. There must be at least one recipient assigned for the task. The Run column for the nightly tasking job must set to “Y”. Select the AINF_nightly_poc_check job in the grid. The current parameters for the job appear in the fields below the grid. Select the Initial field to select the number of days since the encounter that are allowed for the POC to be received, before the initial reminder task is sent. Select the Resend field to select how many days since the first task was sent, without the POC being received, before the task is re-sent. Select whether you want the job to run or not: To set the job to run, make sure the Yes checkbox is selected. To turn off the job, clear the Yes checkbox. No task will be sent, even if the task is set to Enabled in the tas

Configure the AINF_yearly_task Job

Use the AINF_yearly_task job to set up the date in the year when Yearly Reminder 1 task in the Tasks panel grid is sent. The Yearly Reminder 1 task reminds you to perform yearly update actions, such as entering new KX modifier thresholds, updating reimbursement rates, and so on. Select the AINF_yearly_task job in the grid. The current parameters for the job appear in the fields below the grid. Select the Date field to select the date that you want the task reminder to fire. Select whether you want the task job to run or not: To set the job to run, make sure the Yes checkbox is selected. To turn off the tasking job, clear the Yes checkbox. Tasking Jobs

Use the Tasking Jobs panel to configure tasking jobs that run on a regular timeframe. The grid has two nightly jobs and a yearly task job. Each of these jobs works in conjunction with a specific task in the Task panel grid. Set Up a Workable Task

Open a task type with a source type of Encounter, Chart, or Appointment. The Task Types window displays. On the Options tab, select the Workable Task check box. When selected, this check box: Enables you to configure the task into the AutoFlow. Enables users to access this task type from the Work Task right-click option on the Work Tasks window. Select OK. To include the workable tasks in the AutoFlow, open the AutoFlow Sequences master file, and then select the Workable Tasks option to include in the Autoflow Sequence. The option makes the Work Tasks dialog box display to users during AutoFlow. Note: For information about setting up an AutoFlow sequence, see the information about the Autoflow Sequences master file. Set Up Tasks for Auto Completion

You can set up tasks to be automatically completed based on selecting an action from the list. Tasks can be set up for auto completion regardless of whether they are manually or automatically created. Auto-completion occurs when the system recognizes that the desired results related to the completion of the task have been met. Upon auto-completion, the tasks are marked with the completion date and either the default or override completion reason. To set up a task to be automatically completed, perform the following steps: Open or set up new ttask types. Select the Auto Completion tab. Enter a description of the task in the Task Type field. This field is required. In the Source Type field, select a source type. This field is required.
