Document PHI Restrictions

The Restrictions displays shows what PHI is restricted and from whom it is restricted. In the Restrictions grid, double-click to open the IORTSRestrictions template. IORTS Restrictions window Enter the Date. Select the an option to indicate whether the PHI is restricted from an Individual or in General. Click the Restriction field to select what information is restricted from a multi-pick picklist. Click Save. Click Close. The information you entered is shown in the Restrictions grid. Record the Authorized Release of PHI

This grid displays who is authorized to receive PHI for the patient. In the Authorized Release of PHI grid, double-click in the grid. Authorized Release of PHI window This opens the IORTSAuthReleasePHI template. Enter the Start Date and End Date for authorization. Select who authorized the release of PHI in the Authorized By field. Enter to whom authorization is granted, in the Authorization To field. Click the Relation field to select the relationship to the patient of the person who is being granted authorization. Enter the phone number of the person to whom authorization is granted. Select whether authorization is Active or Inactive, and if inactive, enter the date it was made inactive. Click Save. Click Close. The information entered is shown in the Authorized Release of PHI grid. Parent topic: HIPAA Template

Columns in the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received Grid

You obtain various details in the columns of Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid. The Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid contains the following columns: Columns Description Document Date Matches the date provided in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list. Type Matches the document type to a summary of care request or summary of care document. Document Description Matches the document name created during the HIE exchange. Provider Recipient Matches the associated provider in the patient’s HIE document list. The field may be blank. Practice Practice in the patient’s HIE document list. Columns in the Summary of Care Requests Grid

You get various details in the columns of Summary of Care Requests grid. The Summary of Care Requests grid contains the following columns: Columns Description Request Date The date of the associated request. This is either a system-generated request or manual request. System Queried The name of the external system that used for the query. Request User The user associated with the request. This may be a system-generated request, and the user may display as a system user. Received This is associated with the original request status. This column contains one of the two following values. No documents Implies there are no imported documents in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list associated with this request. You can view various details in the columns available in the Summary of Care Received grid. The Summary of Care Received grid contains the following columns: Columns Description Document Date This column contains the date provided in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list. Document Description This column indicates the name of the external system that used during the query. Provider Recipient This column contains the associated provider in the patient’s HIE document list. This field may be blank. Request Date This column shows the date of the associated request. The request is either a system generated request or manual request. Request User This column shows the user associated with the request.
