Document HPI of Patients

You can document a history of present illness (HPI) for chief complaints. On the Billable Visit template, in the History panel, click on any chief complaint. The IORTShpi window opens displaying the corresponding HPI tab. IORTS HPI template Note: To document a different chief complaint, you can click the desired HPI tab. The Procedures grid displays the details from the Orthopedic Surgical History section on the Billable Visit template. Do one of the following to enter the patient's HPI. Click Get Data, select the desired encounter to copy the details from the scope window, and then click OK. In the QuickPick toolbar, click the Star icon or Double star icon icon, select the desired set name from the filter window, and then click OK. Select the appropriate options and enter the details in the fields. To add details of the patient's employer, click Add below the Employer field. Document Patient History for Post-Operative Visits

You can document a patient's history such as details of the last injection, pain, medications, and allergies for a post-operative visit. On the Non Billable Visit template, expand the History panel. Enter the details of the last injection in the following order: Click the Last Inj field, select the last injection date, and then click OK. Enter the duration of the relief in hours, days, weeks, and months. Enter the details of pain as follows: Indicate the severity of the pain. Click the Pain Scale field, and select the pain scale from one to ten from the list. Click the Status % field, select the percentage of the pain status, and then click OK. Select one of the following to indicate the pain status. B. Better S. Same W. Worse In the Ambulatory Aids/Braces, Assoc Symp, and Function/Activity Level sections, do the following: Click the blank field, select the appropriate condition from the window, and then click OK. Document Past Medical History for Fracture Care

You can document the pre-operative information for fracture care of patients. You can use the FC Past Med Hx template in the fracture care workflow to document a patient's history and pre-surgical checklist for fracture care procedures. On the FC Past Med Hx template, click the Chief Complaint field, and select the reason for visit from the list. The lists open for selecting side of the body, body part, and complaint. Select the affected side of the body, body part, and complaint from the corresponding lists. Add or update the pharmacy, as needed. Make the desired changes in the following sections. Diagnosis Orthopedic Surgical History Allergies Medical History Surgical History Medications Social History Family History Review of Systems Note: These sections are automatically filled with the data documented on the Intake template. Add Sports Details and Hobbies of Patients

You can add hobbies and the details of sports for the fracture care of a patient. To add the sports details of the patient, do the following: On the appropriate template, double-click the Sports field. The IORTSsport_xp window opens. IORTS Sports XP template Click the Sport field, and on the sports window, select the sport that the patient played. Click the Current Level of Competition field, and on the sport level window, select the patient's competition level. Click the Expected Level of Competition field, and on the sport level window, select the expected competition level of the patient. Click Save, and then click Close. The IORTSsport_xp window closes. The details of the sports are added to the Sports field on the IORTShpi Fx template. To add hobbies of the patient, do the following: On the IORTShpi Fx template, double-click the Hobbies field. The History panel displays the patient’s Chief Complaint, Medications, Allergies, Sports, Hobbies, and Employer. Adding HPI of Patients

You can enter the patient's history of present illness (HPI) on the IORTShpi window. The following table describes the fields on the IORTShpi window. If you select the option for a field and do not select the appropriate location or applicability, the corresponding item will not be displayed in the office note document. Field Description Pain Location You can indicate the applicable side of the body, and select the location of pain from the list. You can enter additional values in subsequent fields.
