Update an Exam Display Name

You can update the display name of an exam in the provider’s custom navigation pane. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Provider Custom Sidebar panel. Provider Custom Sidebar panel on the Specialty Nav Config template Select the desired category and provider. Select the exam from the right grid. The exam details appear in the fields below the grid. Customize Provider Specific Side Navigation Pane

You can customize provider-specific side navigation pane. For example, if the provider is a shoulder specialist, you can update that provider’s exam list to show primarily shoulder/upper extremity exams. All providers have access to the core exams. However, having a provider-specific side navigation enables easier access to more pertinent templates. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Provider Custom Sidebar panel. Provider Custom Sidebar panel on the Specialty Nav Config template Select the category, Exam or Fracture. Note: The asterisk is the only option for visit type. Select the provider from the Provider field. Select the exams from the left-hand grid. Move to the provider grid using the right arrow. Change Exam Display Order

You can change the order in which the exams display in the side navigation pane. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Side Navigation panel. Open a Category and select a Menu Group to which desired template belongs. All the templates associated with the selected category and menu group appear in the below grid. Configure a Provider-Specific Sidebar

In the Provider Sidebar panel, you can add, remove, or reorder sidebar items based on the provider for the encounter. For example, if a practice offers aquatherapy, but a provider in the practice never performs aquatherapy, that provider can remove it from their side navigation without affecting other providers. The right grid shows the custom sidebar for the selected provider. On the Specialty Nav Config template, select Navigation Config, and then expand the Provider Custom Sidebar panel. Provider Custom Sidebar panel Select the Category field to open a list of side navigation categories. Select a category, and then select OK. Select the Visit Type field, and then select a visit type from the picklist. If you select the asterisk (*), the sidebar applies to all visit types. Under Provider, select the Filter by field, then select the provider you are configuring the sidebar for, and then select OK. You can change the display name of a Physical Exam template. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Side Navigation panel. Open a Category and select a Menu Group to which desired template belongs. All the templates associated with the selected category and menu group appear in the below grid. Remove an Exam Template

You can remove an exam template from the list. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Side Navigation panel. Open a Category and select a Menu Group to which desired template belongs. All the templates associated with the selected category and menu group appear in the below grid.
