Add a Diagnoses for Poly Trauma

Use the top grids on the FC PolyTrauma template to add diagnoses to the specific body areas for today’s treatment. On the FC PolyTrauma template, expand the Assessment and Plan panel. Diagnoses on the FC PolyTrauma template Right-click on the grid for the body area and select Add New. Diagnoses for left lower extremity fracture care A diagnosis template opens. Each body area has its own diagnosis template. Click the Side field to enter the side of the body. Click the Fracture field to enter the fracture description. Type the ICD code in the ICD field. Assessment and Plan Panel for Poly Trauma

The Assessment and Plan panel for Polytrauma enables the provider to submit unlimited fracture care codes. It is broken down by body area; left upper extremity, right upper extremity, spine/pelvis, left lower extremity, and right lower extremity. The grids in the top row show diagnoses/assessments, the second row of grids displays procedure codes. You can enter details for procedure orders, diagnostic tests and labs, and a management plan for each body area, as well as next visit information, X-rays, and verbal counseling. Add a Diagnosis

Click the Add-Remove button below the diagnoses grid to launch the Add/Remove Assessments template. Double-click the diagnosis in the Diagnosis grid. Note: If the diagnosis is not in the Diagnosis grid, you can add it using the Add button to launch the Common Assessment template or Problem IT button to launch IMO template. Click Close. Apply the diagnoses to the procedures in the coding grid by doing one of the following: Click the Apply to All button to add all selected diagnoses to all procedures in the bottom grid. Any diagnosis with a check mark will be added to all procedures in the coding grid. To apply a code to a specific procedure, by selecting them (anything with a green check mark), selecting the procedures in the Procedures grid, and clicking Apply Codes. Add a Treating Diagnosis

You can add additional treating diagnosis using IMO or Common assessment templates. The following steps describe adding treating diagnosis codes using the Common Assessments templates. Note: If your practice is licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, select the Problem IT button under the grid to open IMO to add assessments. Select Add. The Inf Common Assessment window opens. Select the Common Assessments field to select the diagnosis codes page you want to use, and then select OK. The selected page opens. Headers and categories are in bold font. Items showing a code pull directly to the history. Items with a plus sign open picklists to select a more specific diagnosis code. Inf Common Assessment template Select one or more diagnosis codes. The codes you select appear in the Treating grid at the lower left. Select Save & Close. Add a New Diagnosis

You can add a diagnosis for today’s visit. On the Assessment and Plan panel, to filter the patient's diagnoses, select one of the following options above the Diagnosis grid: Orthopedic Medical Click Add under the Diagnosis grid to launch the Common Assessment template or click ProblemIT if using IMO. Add the Patient's Diagnoses

You can add a diagnosis to the grid in either of two ways. If you are licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, click the Problem IT button under the grid to launch IMO to add a diagnosis. To use the Inf Common Assessment template, click the Add button under the Diagnosis grid. Select Orthopedic to add an orthopedic-specific diagnosis or the Medical option for all other diagnoses. Click Add under the Diagnosis grid. The Inf Common Assessment template opens. If the template is blank or you want to use a different common assessment, click the Common Assessments field, select a page from the picklist and click OK. Headers and categories are in bold font Items with a plus sign open picklists or code options to choose from Anything with a Description and Code enters directly into the grid. Common Assessment picklist The Inf Common Assessment template displays the corresponding diagnoses. Select one or more diagnoses. The codes you selected appear in the Diagnosis
