Add a Provider to the CC list
You can add or update the PCP, Referring or shared provider in the CC list.

.
Providers this Encounter
- to include the PCP and/or Referring provider in the CC list or update their details.
Providers to Copy on Today’s Chart Note
- to include shared providers in the CC list and add or update their details.
The
Patient Providers
template opens.
Select the check box for a provider who needs to receive copies to select provider names.
Enter the details for the provider in the fields.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for any other providers you want to add to the CC list.
Click
Save & Close

Remove a Provider from the CC list

Update Ophthalmology Patient Providers
To access the Patient Providers – OPH template, do one of the following: From the Document Library - OPH template, click the Letter recipients and CC link. From the Referral Letter Generator - Oph template, click the Referring Providers link. The Patient Providers - OPH template opens. To update the P.C.P. field, do the following: Click the field associated with the P.C.P. to open the Modify Patient Information window. Click the arrow by the Primary Care Provider field and select a value from the list. Click OK. For the following provider fields, click the field and select a name from the list: Referring Provider Specialist CC Provider 1 CC Provider 2 CC Provider 3 Click Save & Close. Add Carbon Copies
Carbon Copies are available for notes in the Carbon Copies area at the bottom of Single Visit template. To add a Carbon Copy, select the Providers button. Providers button for Carbon Copy fields On the Patients Physicians window, select the Physician Name field to select the provider to CC. Select Letter Recipients
You can select one or more providers to receive the referral letter on the Patient Providers - OPH template. You can access the Patient Providers – OPH template in the following locations: From the Document Library - OPH template, click the Letter recipients and CC link. From the Referral Letter Generator - Oph template, click the Referring Providers link. The Patient Providers - OPH template opens. Select one of the Address letter to options to indicate the primary recipient of the letter. For example, select Address letter to P.C.P. to send the letter to the primary care provider. Note: The options are used to indicate the primary recipient of the letter. Select one or more check boxes to indicate the carbon copy recipients of the letter. Turn on the Document to be Sent to the Patient
If you select the Show Patient Information checkbox on Copy Patient on Today's Encounter Notesection, the physician can select the option to send a copy of today's encounter note to the patient from the Patient Providers template. The Patient Providers template opens from the Referring Provider link on the patient information bar.
