Reviewing and Updating the Visual Acuity Exam Findings

The Visual Acuity section of the Visual Acuity/Lensometry/Refraction panel displays exam findings for the last five encounters.

You can click the Visual Acuity link to add new and review historical exam findings on the Oph EyeTech template.

In provider workflow, the visual acuity findings documented by the technician should be reviewed and updated, if appropriate.

Visual Acuity findings are documented using serial lists . Findings for an exam parameter are entered, followed by a modifier for the parameter. Parameters are organized into separate rows for OD, OS, and OU and by columns for Distant Visual Acuity (Dva) and Near Visual Acuity (Nva).
