Note: For most Ophthalmology diagnostic tests, you can only perform and document a test one time during an encounter. To perform the test again, you must create a new encounter. The Procedures - OPH template provides a central location from which you can open specialty diagnostic testing and other procedures for General and Retina Ophthalmology. The workflow for testing and procedures is shared between the provider and the technician. With Retinal diagnostic testing, there is a technical component that is performed by the technician and a professional interpretation component that is performed by the provider.
