In the General panel, select New patient or Established patient.
The patient type is required for billing purposes and determines the type of visit code calculated on the Finalize tab. If the patient has been seen previously, the system automatically selects Established patient.
Click the Historian field and select a value from the list or select the top blank line to type a different value.
To enter a different date for First seen, click the field and select a date using the Calendar.
For Vision Correction, select Yes or No.
