Disable and Enable User Accounts
You can deactivate a user account to restrict the user from using NextGen® Mobile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Users opens. Search for and select a username. Edit User opens displaying User Information by default. Select the settings Settings icon icon, and then select Disable User. The use account is deactivated. To activate the user account, the settings Settings icon icon, and then select Enable User. The use account is activated. Parent topic: Edit User Information See also Edit User Information

Edit User Information
Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Search for and then select a username.The User Information tab on the Edit User page opens. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure your NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and then enter the additional information. Update dictator, notification, macro, and dictionary preferences as necessary. Select Save & Close. Reset the User Password You can reset the user password in Manage Clinic. Disable and Enable User Accounts You can deactivate and activate the user accounts in Manage Clinic. Send Password Reset Email to a Patient
You can send a password reset email with the account user ID to an active NextGen® PxP Portal patient. The patient can use the password reset email to change the account password and secret question. Note: For security reasons, the practice can view only the patient's user ID, not the password. Log on to Practice Portal. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient. In the Patient Utilities section, select Send Password Reset Email to Patient.A message appears to indicate that the password reset email is sent to the patient. Set Up Your Profile
You can configure your account profile settings, including personal information, password management, enrollment notifications, and dashboard preferences, in My Profile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select your username.My Profile opens. In Manage Your Profile, enter the necessary information. You can select Default Tab to automatically open the specified tab when you open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. In Manage Your Password, enter and confirm your password. To view the job activity for dictating providers in your clinic on the dashboard, in Dashboard Configuration, select the Select All checkbox or choose from the Select Providers list. Reset Multi-Factor Authentication for Patients
You can reset the multi-factor authentication for your patient so that they can update their mobile number and email address when they log on to NextGen® PxP Portal. Log on to Practice Portal. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient. In the Patient Utilities section, select Reset Multi-factor Authentication.A message appears to indicate that the multi-factor authentication has been reset for patient. Add Existing Users to Clinics
Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Select Add Existing User.The Select User page in Add Existing User Wizard opens and lists available users. Search for and select a user, and then select Next.The Verify Data page opens. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure that the NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal.The additional information fields are automatically filled. In Active Directory Account, search for and then select a directory.You can link your active directory account with the NextGen® Mobile account. If you deactivate the Active Directory account, the NextGen® Mobile account is automatically deactivated. In Additional Information, verify and update the user information if needed, and then select Next.The Verify Notification Preferences page opens. In Notification Categories and Notification Medium, select the necessary checkboxes, and then select Create User. You can schedule a date and time
