View Schedules for Selected Dates
By default, the
Schedule
view displays your appointments for the current calendar date. You can edit the layout to display events for a selected date.
Note:
NextGen® Mobile
purges schedules that are older than 15 days and are not attached to an encounter.
Open
NextGen® Mobile
.
On the menu bar, select
Schedule
.
The
Resources
view opens with the list of resources.
Search for and select the resources.
The
Schedule
view opens.
To open the calendar, select the displayed date in the
Schedule
view.
The dates that have scheduled patients are marked with dots in the calendar.
To check the previous and next day schedules, select
or
.
The appointment schedules for the selected date appear.
To close the calendar, select the displayed date.

Select Resources for Viewing Schedules
Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The selected resources appear with different colors. Select Done. The Schedules view opens with the selected resources' appointments for the day. Note: You can open the calendar in Schedules to view appointments on different dates. Start Virtual Visits
Virtual visit patients do not come to your office. When the virtual-visit scheduled patients check in, a virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon Virtual and scribe-enabled visits icon appears in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. On the Schedule view entry of the patient, select Join. Schedule view for virtual visit The Virtual Patient view opens. Sync the Device Calendar with NextGen Mobile
When you sync your device calendar such as Outlook® with NextGen® Mobile, the events from the device calendars appear in the Schedule view. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings. The Settings view opens. Select Phone Calendar to Sync. The Calendars view opens. Personal calendar Select one or more calendar events. Filter Appointment Schedules
You can check appointment schedules for the selected resources in Schedule. You can edit the view to display only the checked-in patients or current-time events. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule Schedule view icon. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Search for and select the resources. The Schedule view opens. Select Filter icon.The appointment filter menu opens. Appointment filter menu To filter the list to display patients who have checked in, select Only Show Checkin. To receive the immediate next and prior appointments or events based on the present time, select Real-Time Schedule View. View Personal Calendars on Your Schedule
Before you begin You must sync your phone calendar with NextGen® Mobile. You can edit the Schedule view to display the events from one or more devices' calendars. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule. The Resources view opens with the list of resources. Select Personal Calendar. The Schedule view displays events from your personal calendars. Filter Patient on Schedule Information
You can filter the patient's schedule information. You can display the patients in the patient grid depending on the patient schedule information. From NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, select Appointment Book. From Locations, select one or more location names. To select all the locations at a time, select LocationName. Note: The location names are listed in the ascending alphabetical order. Select LocationName to change the order. In Date, select the date range. By default, the current system date is selected or today's date is selected. In Time, select the time range. By default, 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM time is selected. From Resources, select one or more resources. To select all the resources at a time, select the check box next to Description. From the Events list, select one or more events. To select all the events at a time, select the check box next to Name. Select Update. The patient grid displays the patients filtered based on the appointment schedule. Parent topic: Schedu
