Patient Schedules

On Patient Chart, you can select the Schedule list to open Patient Schedules, and then select a schedule from the list to open the schedule specific view. The schedule specific view displays the schedule date and the practice location. You can select Continue Search on Server to view the available schedules on the server Note: The Schedule option is available for non- NextGen® Enterprise users. Patient Chart View If the patient is checked-in in the schedule specific view, you can view the following: In Facesheet, the Charges section displays the charges. Managing Patient Alerts

If your clinic is enabled to support patient alerts, you can view the patient alerts by selecting Alerts icon on the Patient Chart view. Note: You must link your NextGen® Enterprise credentials to your dictator in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal and set your credentials as default on logon. Patient Alerts View When a patient has alerts that require your acknowledgement, the Patient Alerts window automatically opens the alerts every time you open the Patient Chart window. You can select Acknowledge to acknowledge all the alerts and quit the view. You can select Acknowledge and Snooze on the Patient Alerts window and select a duration for the alert to snooze. The patient alert does not appear again until the set time expires. Note: You can refresh the Patient Alerts window by swiping down on the screen. Create Encounters

You can create an encounter using the default current date or you can select an earlier date. You cannot create an encounter with a future date. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Schedule. The Schedules window opens. Select the patient. The Patient Chart window opens. Select the Encounter field. The Patient Encounters window opens. To select a different date for the encounter, do the following: Select the Create Encounter field. The date selection view appears. Select the desired date. Select Done. The Patient Encounters window displays the selected date. To create an encounter, select Create Encounter. The Patient Chart window opens with the current date in the Encounter Date field. The details of the most recent encounter for the selected patient appears. Optional: If necessary, edit the encounter data. Parent topic: View Details in Patient Charts

Scan Documents

Before you begin Your clinic is integrated with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You have set your NextGen default provider and location in NextGen® Mobile. Your dictator profile is linked to your NextGen® Enterprise credentials in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Your linked NextGen® Enterprise account has scanning access rights turned on in System Administrator. Your linked NextGen® Enterprise account belongs to a security group that is assigned the appropriate document types. You can scan up to ten pages per document and assign them to a predefined document type. When you save your scan, the document is saved in PDF format and uploaded to the patient's chart. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Docs & Images. The Docs & Images section opens. Select Scan. The scan document view opens. Filter the Document and Images List

You can filter the document list on the Patient Chart window, the Select Documents window, and the Share All Documents window. You can view the documents either in a chronological list or grouped by category. You can also filter the list to include or exclude NextGen® Mobile dictation or NextGen® Enterprise EHR items. Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart window. Select Docs & Images. Select Filter. The filter menu appears. Filter Menu To view the documents in chronological order, select List. To view the documents grouped by categories, select Category. The categories are listed alphabetically depending on the categories defined in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To view NextGen® Mobile dictations in the list, turn on NextGen Mobile Dictations. Only the dictations that have completed editing appear in the list. To view NextGen® Enterprise EHR documents and images in the list, turn on NextGen Docs/Images. Parent topic: View Documents and Images

Share Documents and Images

Open NextGen® Mobile. Open the Patient Chart view. Select Docs & Images. The Docs & Images section opens. Select Share. The Select Documents view opens. Select Documents View Send appears when you select documents. The number of documents selected is also displayed. Select the document. The selected document is highlighted. If only one document exists, the document opens. To share the documents, select Send. To share a document you have opened, you can select , and then select Share Document. The Select Contact(s) view opens. Select contacts. You can enter the contact name to filter the contact list. The selected contacts appear in the To field. Select Create.
