Create and Send Electronic Visit Verification Jobs

The electronic visit verification (EVV) process uses electronic means to verify the physical location of an encounter with a care provider for personal or home healthcare services. NextGen® Mobile allows EVV using a tap template job that collects and verifies your location using your mobile device's built-in GPS. After you verify your location, you can send the location data to NextGen® Enterprise EHR, where it is saved for the encounter. Any document generated from the encounter is automatically appended with an EVV statement containing the location data and verification status for the provided services. Note: Electronic visit verification is available only for NextGen® Enterprise clinics that use NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. To successfully verify your location, your device must have internet connectivity through a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Add Dictation Jobs

Before you begin You must configure Access to Mobile Job List for your permission group in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. You can search for, filter, and delete recorded dictation jobs in Jobs in Hub. You can add jobs for an unscheduled patient encounter and make records of phone calls, texts, or emails. You can also restore a deleted job to the job list by opening a case in NextGen Healthcare Success Community. Note: If the Access to Image Only Job List option is turned on in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, you can only view image jobs and cannot create jobs. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Add Generic Dictation Jobs for New Patients

Before you begin To add patient demographic information to a generic job, ensure that your clinic sets up a job type to provide tags to dictate demographic information. You can add a generic job for a new patient in unscheduled encounters, or a patient visiting another provider. You can add generic jobs for the current date. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Select Jobs.Details of the available jobs on the current date appear. If another provider queue is added to your job list, the provider job queue indicator appears with the job type. To add a job, do one of the following: Select the add icon, and then select New Job. From the toolbar, select Dictate to opening the patient chart, and then select Create. To add a job using offline dictation when the device is not connected to a wireless or cellular network, raise a support request in NextGen Healthcare Success Community. Create and Send Clinical Tasks

Before you begin Ensure that you have the Tasks view turned on in NextGen® Mobile. On the Tasks view, you can create tasks and send them to one or more users or workgroups. You can view and respond to clinical tasks created by NextGen® Enterprise EHR users. The task list includes tasks that are sent directly to you and the tasks that are assigned to your task group. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hubopens. Select Tasks, and then in Tasks, select the new icon . To link the task with a patient, in New Task, select the patient image, and then from Patients, search for and select a patient.The patient's name is added to the task and the attach icon appears. To add an attachment, in New Task, select attach , and then in Select Document, select a document. Note: You can attach documents, images, scanned items, and lab orders associated with the patient. Create Tap Template Jobs

If you have the necessary permissions in a NextGen® Enterprise clinic, you can create jobs with tap templates to fill data in specific fields on specific templates in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Note: If you are a NextGen® Speech-to-Text (STT) user, you can dictate data into tap template job fields depending on how the job type is configured. The tap templates' fields vary according to the job type. Depending on your setup, a job created with a tap template can display numeric fields, bubble options, text fields, selection lists, or checkboxes. For such jobs, you cannot attach images, mark the job as stat, or create generic jobs. Open NextGen® Mobile.Hub opens. Select Jobs.Details of the available jobs on the current date appear.
