Create Tap Template Jobs

If you have the necessary permissions in a NextGen® Enterprise clinic, you can create jobs with tap templates to fill data in specific fields on specific templates in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.

The tap templates' fields vary according to the job type. Depending on your setup, a job created with a tap template can display numeric fields, bubble options, text fields, selection lists, or checkboxes. For such jobs, you cannot attach images, mark the job as stat, or create generic jobs.

  1. Open NextGen® Mobile.
    Hubopens.
  2. Select Jobs.
    Details of the available jobs on the current date appear. If another provider queue is added to your job list, the provider job queue indicator appears with the job type.
  3. To add a job, do one of the following:
    • Select the add icon, and then select New Job.
    • From the toolbar, select Dictate to opening the patient chart, and then select Create.
    • To add a job using offline dictation when the device is not connected to a wireless or cellular network, raise a support request in NextGen Healthcare Success Community.
  4. In New Job , search for and select the patient name.
    You can select Continue Search on Server to view all patients.
  5. From Job Type, select the tap template job type, and then select Save.
    The tap template job opens.

  6. Enter the necessary data in each field, and then select Send.
    The data appears instantly in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and the job appears on the Completed Jobs list.
