Updating the Account Username

When you update your account username in the NextGen® Admin Console User Management section, the logon view appears in NextGen® Mobile where you must re-log on with the updated username. You can also switch to a different user account by selecting Change Accounts. Note: If the selected account is disabled, you can contact your administrator or switch to a different user account by selecting Change Accounts. Open NextGen® Mobile. On the menu bar, select Settings.The Settings view opens. Select Add New User.Logon opens. Enter username and password, and then select Log in.The account is added to the list of accounts. You can switch to a different user account by selecting and entering the account password. Disable and Enable User Accounts

You can deactivate a user account to restrict the user from using NextGen® Mobile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. Users opens. Search for and select a username. Edit User opens displaying User Information by default. Select the settings Settings icon icon, and then select Disable User. The use account is deactivated. Add User Accounts

User accounts are set up with user information that includes personal, system, and network information. Note: User accounts in NextGen® Mobile are different from those in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. However, the two accounts are linked when you set the NextGen® Enterprise defaults in NextGen® Mobile. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select Manage Clinics, and then select Users. In Users. select Add New User.The Enter User Information page opens in Create New User Wizard. In NextGen Username, enter the username to ensure your NextGen® Enterprise username is linked in NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal, and then enter the additional information. In Permission Group, select the necessary group, and then select Next.The Assign Notification Preferences page opens. In Notification Categories and Notification Medium, select the necessary checkboxes, and then select Create User.
