You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for the MICS Med Management template. On the Medication Picklist template, in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel, you can configure and manage picklists for the fields that are related to procedures, body parts, and locations of the MICS Med Management template. The following table describes the sections in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel and the related fields on the MICS Med Management template. The Secondary Locations and Portals/Approaches sections are not applicable for the MICS Med Management template. Section Description Procedure Types You can use this section to configure options for the Administration and Admin Code fields on the MICS Med Management template. You can configure picklists for fields on the Medication Dispensing and Medication Dispensing and Administration panels of the MICS Dispensing medical record template. You can configure the picklists using the following grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template: Procedures Body Parts Side Note: You must select MLTS_dispensing in the Template field of the Administering Template BodyPart/Location panel to enable the configurations for the MICS Dispensing template. Manage Administration Picklist for Dispensing Template You can add or update the picklist values for the Administration fields on the MICS Dispensing template. Manage Location Picklist for Dispensing Template You can add or update values in the picklist for the Location fields on the MICS Dispensing template. You can configure picklists for Admin Type and Body Part fields on the MICS MedAdmin OPH medical record template. You can configure picklists using Admin Types and Body Parts grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. Note: You must select MLTS_medAdmin_OPH in the Template field of the Administering Template BodyPart/Location panel to enable the configurations for MICS MedAdmin OPH template. The order that entries appear in the grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel is the same order that they appear in the corresponding picklists. You can move items up or down in the grid order to change their picklist order. Putting commonly used selections at the top of picklists can speed up selections when recording patient care. Select an item in the grid. Select the up or down arrow to the right of the grid, to move the item up or down in the picklist order. You can configure picklists related to procedures, body parts, and locations for several medical record templates. On the Medication Picklist template, you can use the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel to configure picklists for fields related to procedures, body parts, sides, and locations on the following medical record templates. MICS Dispensing MICS Injections/Aspirations MICS Med Management MICS MedAdmin OPH Administering Template Body Part/Location panel By default, the Active option is selected for all grids. When you select an option in the Template field, the grids are displayed in this panel based on the picklist requirements for the selected template. You can add body parts to the location picklists of the MICS Dispensing template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_ Dispensing. In the Procedures grid, select the desired administration type. The existing body part locations configured for the selected type of medication administration appear in the Body Parts grid. In the field below the Description column of the Body Parts grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code field.
