Add a Body Part to the Location Picklists

You can add body parts to the location picklists of the MICS Dispensing template.

1. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel.
2. From the Template field, select MLTS_ Dispensing.
3. In the Procedures grid, select the desired administration type.
   The existing body part locations configured for the selected type of medication administration appear in the Body Parts grid.
4. In the field below the Description column of the Body Parts grid, enter the desired picklist value.
5. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code field.
6. Select Add.
   The value appearing in the grid is in the order it should appear in the picklist.
