Manage Side Picklists for Dispensing Template

You can add or update values in the picklist for the Side fields on the MICS Dispensing template using Sides grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. This configuration associates the sides of body parts for medication administration with appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes for billing purposes. The Sides grid displays the picklist options for the Side fields on the MICS Dispensing template to specify medication administration location. Manage Administration Picklist for Dispensing Template

You can add or update the picklist values for the Administration fields on the MICS Dispensing template using the Procedures grid in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template. This configuration associates the medication administration types with appropriate Current Procedural Terminology ( CPT® ) codes for billing purposes. Configuring Picklists for the Dispensing Template

You can configure picklists for fields on the Medication Dispensing and Medication Dispensing and Administration panels of the MICS Dispensing medical record template. You can configure the picklists using the following grids in the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel on the Medication Picklist system template: Procedures Body Parts Side Note: You must select MLTS_dispensing in the Template field of the Administering Template BodyPart/Location panel to enable the configurations for the MICS Dispensing template. Add a Body Part to the Location Picklists

You can add body parts to the location picklists of the MICS Dispensing template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_ Dispensing. In the Procedures grid, select the desired administration type. The existing body part locations configured for the selected type of medication administration appear in the Body Parts grid. In the field below the Description column of the Body Parts grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code field. Update Values in the Location Picklists

You can update the description and associated CPT® code for values in the Location picklists of the MICS Dispensing template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. From the Template field, select MLTS_ Dispensing. All the available values for the Location picklist appear in the Body Parts grid. Select the value to update. The description and CPT® code appear in the corresponding fields below the grid. You can add values to the Side picklists of the MICS Dispensing template. On the Medication Picklist system template, expand the Administering Template Body Part/Location panel. In the Template field, select MLTS_ Dispensing. In the Procedures grid, select the desired administration type. The existing body part locations configured for the selected type of medication administration appear in the Body Parts grid. Select the desired body part location. The existing values of the Side field picklist appear in the Sides grid. In the field below the Description column of the Sides grid, enter the desired picklist value. To associate a CPT® code with the picklist value, enter the code in the field below the Code field. Select Add. The value appearing in the grid is in the order it should appear in the picklist.
