Injections & Aspirations Provider Defaults

The Injections and Aspirations template has five panels, each of which can be set to document either injections or an aspiration. These panels all default to a procedure type of Injection unless configured otherwise for the provider. For providers who perform aspirations, you can use the Injections and Aspirations Provider Panel Defaults panel to configure provider-specific defaults for the Injections and Aspirations template panels. Deactivate an Injection & Aspiration Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Kit

The inactive Injection and aspiration platelet rich plasma (PRP) Kits do not appear in the Injections and Aspirations template panels. On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Injection & Aspiration PRP Kit panel. Select the Active option on top of the PRP Kit/Lot # Inventory Management grid. Update an Injection and Aspiration Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Kit

Reactivate an Injection and Aspiration Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Kit

On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Injection & Aspiration PRP Kit panel. Select the Inactive option on top of the PRP Kit/Lot # Inventory Management grid. Add an Injection and Aspiration Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Kit

On the Admin Configuration system template, expand the Injection & Aspiration PRP Kit Configuration panel. Enter the kit details in the fields below the Kit#, Kit Lot #, Manufacturer, and Par Level column of the grid. Select the expiration date in the field below the Expiration Date column. A Calender window opens. Enter the quantity in the field below the Quantity column. Select Add to save the kit details in the grid. Admin Configuration Template

The Admin Configuration template has panels that you can use to set up users with administrative override rights,give users rights to perform mass inventory updates, configure sub locations and par levels, set up the default panel types for the MICS Injections/Aspirations template, and configure the security group for the billing task. Configuring Administrative Override You can configure security groups and users that have permission to override or remove documentation from the NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Mass Inventory Update Medication Quantity Picklists Sub-Locations and Par Level Configuration You can configure the sub-locations and par levels for medications stored in various locations of your practice.
