Admin Override Report

The Admin Override SAP® Crystal Reports® shows all Administrative Overrides. Select the Admin Override Report button below the usage grid. The Crystal Reports Viewer opens with the Enter Parameter Values window open. Select a Practice from the dropdown list at the top. Select locations for which you want to run the override report by selecting them in the Available Values grid and moving them to the Selected Values grid: You can move locations one at a time by double-clicking on them, or by selecting them in the Available Values grid and then selecting the single arrow. You can use the double arrow to move all locations to the Selected Values grid. To remove individual locations the Selected Values grid, highlight them and select Remove. To remove all locations the Selected Values grid, select Remove All. Use the Start Date and End Date fields to select dates that bracket the range you want in the report. Administrative Override Log

The system keeps track of when administrative override functionality is used. It logs the user, encounter number, and encounter date/time. Admin Override Settings

You can manage administrative override permission for the security groups in the Admin Override panel of the Practice Configuration template. You can also view following logs in the above panel. Admin Override charge clearing log: Displays the charges that are revised by providers after being submitted. You can also filter the charges by encounter number. E&M Override Log: Displays the encounters for which suggested E&M codes are revised on the Finalize Visit template. You can filter the entries by encounter number. Administrative Override

Once documentation is complete, the final step is submitting charges. When charges are submitted, the template is locked down. If you have administrative override rights, you can make changes or document additional information. Administrative override does not remove any charges already submitted; those must be adjusted manually. Note: Only users configured to have administrative override rights see the Admin Override button once charges have been submitted. Select the Admin Override button to “un-lock” the template. The system prompts you to confirm that you want to override charges on this encounter. Select Yes. The Submit button re-appears and the Admin Override button is replaced with red text that says Admin Override. Do one of the following: Correct any incorrect documentation such as side, site, drug, and lot number by selecting the medication from the Administered Today grid and clicking in the desired fields. Reactivate Admin Override for a User

You can reactivate admin override rights for a user. On the MICS Admin Configuration system template, expand the Administration Override Configuration panel. Select the Inactive option on top of the Users with Admin Override Rights grid. The grid displays all users with inactive administrative rights. Select the required user, and select Toggle. Displaying Orders in the Grid

You can view the pending and completed orders for the patient using the Recent Orders panel. The Recent Orders panel grid displays completed orders or pending orders depending on the which tab you select.
