Set Up Template Preference Properties
The Use Alias option is available only on user-defined copies of an existing NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. You can clear the Use Alias preference to point all triggers to the original NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. You can turn on a preference to attach a sidebar template to another template. You can select the location of the sidebar in the template, and you can turn on the Auto Hide the Sidebar option. This functionality is available only if the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine is locked down. Open Template Editor. Open template sub template, template snippet, or popup template, and then do one of the following: Double-click anywhere outside a field on the template. Right-click anywhere outside a field on the template, and then select Properties. From the Menu bar, select View > Properties. On the Main toolbar, select Properties. Set up Refresh Sidebar Trigger
The Refresh Sidebar action reloads the content of the Sidebar template at run time. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Refresh Sidebar action.
