Change Field Color Trigger

The Change Field Color action allows you to change: Text color for label, active text, data entry (edit), and checkbox fields Background color for a data entry field Change the color of multiple fields at a time on a template Assign the color from a template field or variable at run time instead of during trigger setup. Note: Set colors for selected and unselected active text in the Values tab on the Insert or Edit Active Text window. Follow the applicable steps in General Trigger Setup. Select the Change Field Color action. The Change Field Color window lists all of the template fields that can change field color. From the Available Template Fields pane, select each field for which you want to change color, and select Add. The selected field displays in the Fields to Change pane and the OK button is turned on. You can select the multiple fields by selecting the Ctrl button. Note: You can remove the selected fields by selecting the fields from Fields to Change pane and selecting the Re

From the Menu bar, select Tools, and then select Preferences. The User Preferences window opens. To set the default background color for templates, in the General tab, do one of the following : From the Template Color list, select one of the standard colors. Select Custom Color to create a custom color using the Color window. To turn the Auto Save option on or off, do the following: Select the Use Auto Save check box. Select the Up or Down arrow to set the Execution Time in minutes. The default is set to 20 minutes. You can automatically save the template you are currently working on at specified time intervals. The Auto Save option is not selected by default. Note: NextGen Healthcare recommends that you leave this option disabled if you are a beginner-level user. To turn the warning message for overlapping active images on or off, select or clear the Warn on active image(s) overlapping other fields check box. You can display a message when one or more active images overlap other field

Select Template Data

You can select Template Data for a report. Select Templates from the Report Filter Settings List. In the Select Template pane, select the desired template. If necessary, enter the name of a template to search for. Note: The following Care Guideline templates are no longer available for reporting: CARE_GUIDLELINES CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_HISTORY CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_REASONS CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_UPDATE CLINICAL_GUIDELINES To generate a report that lists the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines, run the “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. In the Select Field pane, select all the necessary template fields. From the Latest Value By list, select whether to run the report by Modify, Encounter Date or None. To convert all measurements into numeric values for the report, select the Convert to Numeric check box.
