HASAUDIO String Function

Use: Indicates whether an audio recording has been created and saved to a specific note field Syntax: {HASAUDIO( «string» )} Arguments: «string» Character string that represents the name of the note field to be evaluated Returns: 0 = Specified note field does not contain an audio recording 1 = Specified note field contains an audio recording Example: Note field = audio_note which has audio recordedNumeric data entry field = audio_indicatorButton field = audio_checkSet up an Assign Field Value trigger on the audio_check button field to check the audio_note_field for audio. ISEMPTY String Function

INSERT String Function

Use: Inserts a substring into another string at a given position Syntax: {INSERT( «string» , «string», «num»)} Arguments: First «string» Character string to insert another string intoSecond «string» String value to insert in another string«num» Zero-based character position where the substring is to be inserted Returns: A string with the substring inserted Example: Fields = txt_field1, txt_field2{template_name_.txt_field1} = Add: text.{template_name_.txt_field2} = new{INSERT( {template_name_.txt_field1}, {template_name_.txt_field2}, 5 )} Or {INSERT( {template_name_.txt_field1}, new, 5 )} Result: Add: newtext.
