Viewer Document Menu

Command	Action
Document Bar	Hides or shows the Document Bar.
Button Bar	Hides or shows the Button/Icon Bar.
Ruler Bar	Hides or shows the Ruler Bar.
Insert Page Break	Inserts a page break in the patient document at the cursor location.
Insert Image	Inserts a selected image in the patient document at the cursor location. The Select image window opens.
Insert Patient Image	Inserts a selected patient image in the patient document at the cursor location. The Select image to insert window opens.
Insert Lab Results	Inserts specific lab or radiology test results in the patient document at the cursor location. Note: TX Text viewer only.

Document Bar

The Document bar may contain the following icons: Icon(s) Function Select the layout in which you want to view the patient document as you work on it. Note: TX Text viewer only. Viewer Document Menu

You can display an action menu for the patient document currently open in the viewer. To display the document menu, you can right-click the Document Bar or anywhere in the patient document to display the following menu. The table below describes each command. Command Action Document Bar Hides or shows the Document Bar. Button Bar Hides or shows the Button/Icon Bar. Ruler Bar Hides or shows the Ruler Bar. Insert Order Results

If lab or radiology order results exist for a patient, you can insert them in a patient document that is displayed in the TX Text viewer. You can select from all available order results for the patient or filter the results available for selection. You can insert all or specific tests within an order panel. You can insert comments along with the results in the patient document. Note: This functionality is available in the TX Text viewer only. Open a patient document in the TX Text viewer. Point to where you want to insert the order results in the patient document. Right-click in the patient document, and select Insert Lab Results from the Document menu. The Select lab results window opens listing all the patient available order results in descending chronological order. To show or hide the column headers, select the Show Headers check box. Note: You may need to select the down arrow button to reveal the selections available in the Lab Results pane. To show or hide the individual tests

Using the Results Panel

You can perform the following actions in the Results panel on the Orders Summary tab: Enter test results coming in with an interface using the Formatted Results, Grid Results, or Documents, Images, and URLs tabs. Manually enter results using the New Results Entry tab. Manually enter related documents using the New Document and Images Entry tab. View and add tracking comments. Send lab results to NextGen® PxP Portal. The actions available on the Results panel toolbar change depending on which type of results are being viewed or created.
