View and Print Medication Monograph

To learn more about a conflict between prescribed medications, you can view and print medication monograph. Select Monograph. The Medication Monograph window opens. Medication Monograph To print the available information, select Print. NextGen® Enterprise EHR prints the monograph to the default printer setup for your workstation. View and Print Medication Education

A majority of medications in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR database have corresponding educational information associated with them in the form of a drug monograph. When you prescribe a medication, you can view and print the monograph to provide the educational information to the patient. Note: The viewing and printing of a drug monograph is audited. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Medications module and access a patient with medication information. Do one of the following: Right-click a medication and select Resources > Monograph. Select Resources > Monograph from the Medications toolbar. From the Medication Search window, right-click a medication and select Resources > Monograph. The Medication Monograph window displays information regarding the selected medication. To adjust the size of the Medication Monograph, select a percentage from the Zoom list. Print Prescriptions

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and open the medication module. Select the medication. Select Print on the medications toolbar. If the Prescribe Elsewhere check box is selected, the Print, Fax, and eRx buttons are unavailable. The Print window opens. Print For Medication, select to print the Selected Medication Only or All Medications for Current Encounter. For Printer, select a printer or select the ellipsis button to open the Browse window. Do one of the following: Select Print to print. Select Preview to preview the prescription. Select Cancel to exit without printing. If you select Preview, the Prescription Preview opens. Print Patient Savings and Education Documents

NextGen Healthcare recommends that the patient receives a printed copy of the patient savings and education documents to ensure medication adherence. When ePrescribing, faxing, or printing a medication that has a savings or education program, you are prompted to print all patient savings and education documents. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Medication module, after accepting a medication with an available program, select Send or Print.The Patient Savings and Education Documents window opens. Note: CureAll is a fictitious medication used for demonstration purposes only. To print the documents, select Print All.The documents print to the printer defined in Tools > Preferences > Medications > Patient Education and Saving Programs. If a printer has not been defined, a window displays the Microsoft® Windows 8 default printer and routes. Note: If you select Close, a message notifies you that patient savings materials will not be printed if you close the window. Select Yes if you do n
