Orders Management Console Toolbar Options for NextGen Test Compendium Updates

Buttons Function You can choose to display only the new Lab tests, only the new Radiology tests, or All new order tests in the update list. You can choose to filter the new items by: New Information only Deleted Information only Conflict information only Different information only If selected, the differences are highlighted in the compendium list and the blue arrows are activated to move through the differences. If not selected, the differences are shown as plain text. Moves through the conflicts one at a time, or moves to the first or last conflict. Moves through the differences one at a time, or moves to the first or last difference. Select this button to get information on how to edit compendium data. Save modified compendium records. Selecting the Conflict Resolution Mode

You can select any one of the following Conflict Resolution Mode options to resolve conflicts in your new test data: Keep Mine Keeps the existing records without any modifications but will add other new codes. Accept Downloaded Accepts the new records from the new download. This is the only Conflict Resolution Mode option for LOINC® code compendium update. This option is not available for vendor compendiums. Keep Vendor Accepts the newly downloaded records from the vendor. This option is available only for vendor compendiums. Automatic Keeps the strongest value. A value is considered stronger if the Confidential indicator is enabled. Manual Accepts the manual changes made in any of the records through Order Management Console. Note: You must select the Conflict Resolution Mode option before you save the data. Update NextGen Test Code in a Compendium

You can update the NextGen Test associated with a test in a compendium. Open Orders Management Console. Open the download of a compendium. Select the down arrow next to the test code and select a code from the list of similar tests. Select Save or Save Modified. The new test code is saved. Note: In the Order Test Codes page of the Labcorp compendium, the New NextGen Test (Code) column displays the new test description with code, and the Current NextGen Test (Code) column displays the existing description with code from the NextGen database. You can update the NextGen Test associated with a test in a compendium. Open Orders Management Console. Open the download of a compendium. Update LOINC Codes with the Orders Management Console

Double-click the shortcut on the desktop or select the Orders Management Console from the application launcher. Enter your login credentials. The Orders Management Console window opens. Select LOINC codes and select Download. The list of new LOINC codes available displays. If no new codes are available, a message appears stating that there are no records to process. To help with the processing of each new test, use the row and cell color of the LOINC code. Select Save Modified or Save to make the test updates permanent.
