Respond to PAQ Action Tasks

A PAQ Action task is listed in the Clinical Tasking tab only if it is signed off in the Provider Approval Queue tab using the Task 1 or Task 2 action item. For the selected PAQ Action task, you can: Perform the PAQ actions. View the activity log in the Communication Summary window. Add a comment. Access the Workflow Module. In the Clinical Tasking tab, select a PAQ Action task assigned to you. Select Actions. The PAQ Item Actions window opens. Select the check box for each PAQ action to perform. If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, the Send to Patient Portal option is disabled. If you select the Task 1 or Task 2 action, enter the following information in the fields that appear: Select an option from the Priority list. Select the (no Recipients): Click to add text to display the Select Task Recipients window, and then select the recipients. Enter a brief Description. Sign off PAQ Items with Actions

When you sign off a pending PAQ item, you can also execute saved actions or create new actions. You can save the actions for future use. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. In the Items list, you can select or deselect all the items together using Select All check box. If you make a selection in either Pending or Rejected tab, the selection is saved for the other tab. You have to make separate selection for History tab. A preview of the item appears in the viewing pane. Information about the selected item appears beneath the list of items in the left pane. To display lab results in a different view, select one of the following beneath the results: Formatted Results Grid results Documents, images, or URLs To view the item in full on your screen, select Full Screen in the Workflow toolbar. Assign NextGen® Enterprise EHR Task for a PAQ Item

You can assign an NextGen® Enterprise EHR Task for a PAQ Item. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane. Select + To Do in the toolbar. The New EHR Task window opens. To change the Due Date from today, select the calendar icon, and then select a different date. From the Priority list, select High, Normal (default) , or Low. To add recipients to the task, select Add available next to Assign To. The Select Task Recipients window opens. If you do not select a recipient for the task you are creating, the task assigned to you. To change the Subject from the name of the item type, enter the text in the subject field. You can enter up to 30 characters. To associate a patient with the task, select Add next to Re: Patient to display the Patient Lookup window. Select the patient in the Re: Patient.
